02What this service is

PC repair, laptop repair, Mac repair and computer repair for people living and working in Tsuchiura, Tsukuba and nearby areas of Ibaraki. Hardware, software, network and virus problems.

Windows and Mac are both supported. We do not limit ourselves to particular makers or models.

You do not need to speak Japanese to use this service. Write to us in English and we will reply in English.

03What to tell us

These three things help us give you an accurate estimate quickly.

• What is happening. For example: it does not turn on, it is very slow, it cannot connect to Wi-Fi.
• When it started, and what you were doing at that time.
• Whether you have important data on it. Please tell us this first. It changes the order in which we work.

Photos of the screen or of any error message are very helpful. You can attach them to your email.

04Who we work with

Both individuals and companies are welcome. You do not need to be a business customer.

We come to you. We visit you in Tsuchiura and the surrounding area, or help you remotely. We do not accept drop-offs — you do not need to carry your PC anywhere.

05What we can do

• Laptop or desktop will not start, or has no power. We find where it stops and repair what can be repaired.
• Slow, freezing, or shutting down. We check software, storage, memory and heat in order.
• No internet or unstable Wi-Fi. We separate PC problems from router and line problems.
• Printers and scanners not working. Connection and sharing settings.
• Virus warnings. We first check whether the warning is real. Many of these warnings are fake.
• New PC setup and data transfer from your old computer.

06Parts replacement and data recovery

We replace parts where we can. Storage (HDD / SSD), memory, internal cleaning and cooling. If replacing a part will fix it, we replace it. Parts are charged at cost, and we tell you the price before we start.

We can also recover data in many cases. If the PC simply will not start but the disk itself is fine, the data can usually be recovered.

However, data recovery is not always possible. It depends on how badly the drive is damaged. If the disk itself is physically damaged, specialist equipment is required, and we will refer you to a company that has it.

If the data matters to you, please tell us that first. It changes the order in which we work. Turning the PC on and off repeatedly can make things worse, so it is safest to contact us before trying anything.

07Price

From ¥5,000 per case. We tell you the approximate price and the time required before we start, and we begin only after you agree.

If we find that the work will take longer than expected, we stop and ask you again. We never add charges silently.

08If we cannot repair it

Some problems are physical, and we cannot repair them. In that case we will tell you so. We will also tell you whether it is better to send it to the maker, or to buy a new one. We do not continue working just to charge you.

We are based in Tsuchiura, Ibaraki. We visit for on-site computer repair in:
